Ergo is seeking Senior Network Security Engineer for a permanent position based in any of our Irish offices ( Dublin / Cork / Limerick / Belfast ).

Joining an established and industry leading team you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing support of network and security services both within Ergo and across its client environments.

Expertise in Firewalls is required with an emphasis on Checkpoint and Fortinet . Certification is required.

What will you do?

What do you need?

Minimum of 10 years' hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance, and support of firewalls specifically Checkpoint and Fortinet
Checkpoint CCSM or CCSM Elite certification (or in the process of obtaining)
Fortinet NSE4 Certification or Fortinet Certified Professional (or in the process of obtaining)
Proficient in secure connectivity technologies including VPN, IPSEC, and SSL VPN
Comprehensive knowledge of network and security best practices.

It's nice to have the following:

Experience of firewall, switching, and routing technologies from Aruba, HPE, Cisco, and Juniper.
Strong expertise in dynamic routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
Experience with Voice over IP (VoIP) implementations and troubleshooting.
Practical experience with Azure networking components
Familiarity with Authentication and Authorization protocols, particularly RADIUS.
