is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise network infrastructures to ensure high availability, performance, and security. Leveraging advanced knowledge validated by the Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification, this role plays a key part in supporting mission-critical network operations and enabling seamless connectivity across the organization.

Design, implement, and support scalable LAN, WAN, WLAN, and data center network architectures.
Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, wireless controllers, and related network appliances.
Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize routing, switching, and overall infrastructure efficiency.
Perform advanced troubleshooting using tools such as packet captures, SNMP monitoring, NetFlow, and syslog analysis.
Manage routing protocols including OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, and MPLS to ensure efficient, redundant connectivity.
Implement and maintain network security measures such as ACLs, VPNs, firewall policies, segmentation, and identity-based security controls.
Support Voice over IP (VoIP), QoS configurations, and collaboration technologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network requirements for applications, cloud services, and business initiatives.
Lead or assist in network upgrades, migrations, hardware refreshes, and infrastructure modernization projects.
Maintain detailed network documentation, diagrams, and operational runbooks.
Participate in on-call rotations to support 24/7 network availability and respond to critical incidents.
Ensure compliance with industry best practices, internal standards, and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
Active
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
certification (Enterprise, Security, Collaboration, Data Center, or equivalent track).
3–7+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering or related roles.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, switching, VLANs, STP, NAT, DHCP, DNS, and VPN technologies.
Proficient with Cisco IOS/XE, NX-OS, and common network management tools.
Preferred Skills
Experience with firewalls (Cisco ASA/FTD, Palo Alto, Fortinet, etc.).
Knowledge of software-defined networking (SDN) and automation tools (Python, Ansible, Cisco DNA Center).
Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Experience in high-availability environments, disaster recovery planning, and network capacity management.
Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
