Overview:

As an Mulesoft Architect, you will work with our growing DevSecOps practice developing APIs and integration capabilities using the Mulesoft platform to connect data, services, and systems to help our customers achieve their mission. We are looking for candidates with experience building APIs and microservices with cloud platform services, understanding business requirements and implementing complex integrations for data and services. You will act as both technical visionary and be responsible for hands-on delivery.

Responsibilities

• Work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate functional and non-functional requirements into integration interfaces and implementations
• Design reusable assets, components, standards, frameworks, and processes to support and facilitate API and integration projects.
• Develop APIs and integrations using the Mulesoft platform across a broad range of software programming tasks to ensure that their systems integrations are functional.
• Advise technical teams on performance, scalability, reliability, monitoring, and other operational concerns of integration solutions on Anypoint Platform.
• Document as-is state of the environment, perform a gap analysis, and produce artifacts that articulate options and recommendations
• Create and provide technical documentation that explains upcoming or existing integrations to non-technical individuals.
• Engineer and implement solutions and provide recommendations for continuous improvement for the services provided
• Identify technical problems, perform root cause analysis, and develop software updates and ‘fixes’
• Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers
• Test and examining code written by others and analyzing results
• Ensure that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
• Act as an individual contributor and mentor more junior team members
• Present regular status updates and provide cross training to other team members.

Qualifications:

Required

• Ability to obtain a U.S. government Security Clearance
• BS Degree in an IT field OR BS in a non-IT field and 2 years related IT experience

Preferred

• MS Degree in an IT-related field

• MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect - Level 1
