Join our team as an MRI Scientist – Pulse Sequence Design.

The MRI Scientist will be a resourceful individual, with deep MR physics knowledge, motivated to develop this unique technology to help the neurological community impact patients’ lives.

Main Responsibilities:

• Implement domain expertise in developing pulse sequences for multiple neurological conditions and treatment scenarios.
• Be hands-on with testing and refining the MRI prototype.
• Work effectively and efficiently within a cross-functional team including an RF engineers, systems engineers, quality engineers, and staff technicians.
• Provide feedback during evaluation of MRI data, image quality, software code, etc.
• Identify and write grant proposals.
• Research new technologies and methodologies for development of the MRI.
• Identify and conceptualize patentable ideas.

Minimum Qualification:

• Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Medical Physics or a related field.
• Experience with MR technology, specifically with developing MRI scanners and designing pulse sequences.
• Expertise in magnetic resonance imaging.
• Experience with python and Matlab.
• Creative and resourceful.
• Excellent writing and presentation skills.

Desired Experience:

• Prior experience with low-field MRI.
• Knowledge of AI/ML
