As a Money Infrastructure Engineer, you'll design, develop, and maintain the live serving infrastructure and database systems that power our ambitious goals. Your work will ensure fault-tolerant, secure operations at scale, enabling fast execution in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate fully-automated, fault-tolerant infrastructure on bare metal Kubernetes
• Support other engineering teams with infrastructure feature requests and live system debugging
• Perform scheduled maintenance and cross-region disaster recovery for highly available large-scale distributed production systems
• Uphold regulatory and compliance standards (specifically PCI) across all levels of infrastructure and applications
• Collaborate with third-party auditors, consultants, and vendors to meet the above regulatory and compliance standards.

Who You Are

We're seeking exceptional engineers passionate about our mission, with a relentless drive to build the most secure and reliable systems. Ideal candidates bring:

• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and Helm chart construction
• Administration experience with RDBMS and large-scale data systems (Postgres, FoundationDB, S3, Athena, BigQuery).
• Advanced Linux systems administration skills with accompanying shell mastery
• A security-first mindset, demonstrated over several projects

Nice to Have

• PCI compliance experience, especially audit preparation
• Experience with CI/CD tools Github Actions and ArgoCD
• Experience with AWS EKS, RDS, and associated services
• Experience with IaC tools Terraform and Puppet

Compensation Range $180,000 - $440,000 USD
