Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Molecular Biologist to join our expanding genetics and genomics laboratory in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) and molecular diagnostics. The selected candidate will relocate to Saudi Arabia to work within a dynamic and collaborative environment focused on precision medicine and advanced genetic testing.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform and oversee molecular biology assays, including DNA/RNA extraction, quantification, and quality control.
Prepare and process samples for NGS workflows (library preparation, sequencing runs, and data handover).
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot molecular instruments and NGS platforms.
Ensure compliance with laboratory quality standards and safety procedures (CAP, ISO, or equivalent).
Collaborate with bioinformatics and clinical teams to ensure accurate interpretation and reporting of results.
Contribute to the optimization and validation of new molecular assays.
Maintain detailed records of laboratory activities and ensure data integrity.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Molecular Biology, Genetics, or related field.
Proven experience (minimum 3–4 years) in molecular diagnostics or genomics laboratory.
Strong technical expertise in Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) workflows and related technologies.
Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS) and molecular quality control.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Willingness to relocate to Saudi Arabia for full-time employment.
Experience with Illumina or Thermo Fisher sequencing platforms.
