Knowledge of plastic injection molds and molding processes.
Microsoft Office Suite

Visio
Proficiency in the use of measurement instruments.
Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers, suppliers, and corporate personnel.
Ability to prepare and deliver professional presentations.
Root Cause Analysis and problem-solving skills.

Oversee compliance with plastic injection molding operations and related transfer activities.
Provide technical support to resolve molding process issues (troubleshooting).
Develop molding-related work instructions, operating procedures, rework instructions, sorting activities, deviations, and other documentation.
Define the layout and arrangement of molding equipment within the production area.
Collaborate with Design Engineering on new products and process developments.
Participate in customer complaint investigations and support the development of Molding-related 8D corrective actions.
Supervise the operation of the grinding room for the proper use and disposal of regrind material.
Participate in the launch and transfer of molding products and manufacturing processes.
Manage projects focused on reducing costs, waste, scrap, and defects within molding operations.
Develop optimization, cost-saving, and continuous improvement projects in the molding area.
Coordinate the validation process for new products through scientific molding analysis.
Work with Quality Engineering to evaluate discrepant or nonconforming molding materials.
Source and purchase spare parts and manufacturing materials for molds, presses, and peripheral equipment.
Develop and document Failure Mode Analysis (FMEA).
Source and purchase tools required by molding technicians.
Contribute to the development of standardized work for key process operations.
Maintain standardized work documentation and take corrective actions when compliance is not achieved.
Execute assigned continuous improvement projects within the P3 program on time and according to requirements.
