Your Role: Modern C++ Developer (with impact far beyond software)

We’re looking for someone who not only writes great modern C++, but who loves tackling complex challenges with curiosity and who enjoys building real-world technical solutions.

You will work deeply in our core technology stack — everything that makes RoBo®Cut “think”, “see”, and “act” with micrometer precision:

• 3D computer vision & image processing
• High-speed robotics
• Laser path planning & real-time control of the system
• AI inference & data pipelines
• High-performance system design & optimization

Experience in robotics / machine vision / automation is a plus – but not mandatory.

Curiosity, technical depth, and the desire to solve complex problems are what matter most.

What you’ll actually build & improve

You will work on the software that drives a machine which:

• Analyzes plant structures in real time using stereo cameras and AI models
• Calculates micrometer-precise grasping & cutting points
• Controls high-speed SCARA and 6-axis robots
• Uses lasers for sterile, touchless cuts
• Runs continuous production, 24/7, in global tissue-culture labs
• Collects huge data sets of image data which build the foundation for training and optimization of AI models
• Reliably traces every plant in every single step of the automated in-vitro process
