Mobile Developer - Flutter
We're looking for a skilled Mobile Developer to join our team and help build and enhance our Flutter application. You'll work across both iOS and Android platforms, shipping features that reach users through the App Store and Google Play.
This is a freelance role. The position is remote and open to candidates based in Eastern Europe.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain our cross-platform mobile application using Flutter and Dart
- Collaborate with designers and product managers to translate requirements into polished, performant mobile experiences
- Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance bottlenecks, and platform-specific issues
- Contribute to architectural decisions and help establish best practices for mobile development
- Ship updates through the App Store and Google Play, managing the release process
Requirements
- Proven experience building mobile applications with Flutter and Dart
- At least one app you've developed has been published to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
- Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and platform conventions
- Familiarity with state management solutions (Provider, Riverpod, Bloc, etc.)
- Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming
- Comfortable working with version control (Git) and collaborative development workflows
Nice to Have
- Experience with native code integration using platform channels (bridging Flutter with Swift/Kotlin or Objective-C/Java)
- Proficiency in C or C++ and experience writing or integrating native libraries via FFI
- Background in native iOS (Swift/Objective-C) or Android (Kotlin/Java) development
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps
- Experience with automated testing frameworks for Flutter
