Company Description
We are engineering the foundational intelligence layer for spectral CT, enabling advanced tissue characterization without the need for new hardware. Rather than relying on generic architectures, we build proprietary models that fuse deep learning with deterministic physics to unlock signal data that standard scanners miss. Our vendor-agnostic engine bridges the gap between raw imaging physics and clinical decision-making, deploying a unified, regulatory-grade solution that modernizes diagnostics and radiotherapy at scale. We are now entering a critical phase: transforming a scientifically validated solution into a regulated medical product. We are looking for a lead engineer/physicist who thrives at the intersection of science, product development, and regulatory-aware engineering.
What you’ll do
- Own and advance core technical components of a regulated medical imaging product
- Apply scientific rigor across the full product development lifecycle - from prototype to clinical-grade software
- Design, implement, and maintain Python-based software for 3D spectral CT image analysis
- Translate physics-based methods into robust, testable, and maintainable software
- Collaborate with clinical partners to validate software in real-world settings
- Profile, trace, and optimize performance to ensure reliability and reproducibility
- Contribute to technical documentation supporting regulatory submissions
- Work closely with product, regulatory, and clinical stakeholders
- Present results internally and externally at conferences, workshops, or collaborator meetings
- Engage with international collaborators and contribute to joint research or pilot projects
General requirements
- MSc or PhD in Physics, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related field
- Excellent English reading, writing, and communication skills
- 5+ years of proven experience building software as a product, not just research code
- Strong background in medical imaging software (CT, spectral imaging, radiology, radiotherapy)
- Solid Python coding experience and experience in the development of ML/AI solutions
Bonus points
- Experience in regulated or safety-critical environments (ISO 13485, ISO 14971)
- Comfort with design documentation and traceability
- Hands-on experience with radiotherapy and treatment planning

- Employment contract for an indefinite period with a six-month probationary period
