Spectainer Singapore is looking for a Mechatronics Systems Engineer to join our talented and dynamic team.
The Mechatronics Systems Engineer is responsible for the integration, and continuous improvement of the automation architecture governing Spectainer’s COLLAPSECON Operating Stations (COS).
The role acts as the internal technical expert for COS automation systems. This includes overseeing and delving into the electrical architecture, sensor systems, PLC control logic, and machine sequencing that govern COS operation. Working closely with the engineering team, the ideal candidate should be able to seamlessly integrate these automation systems with the mechanical platform to ensure the machine operates as a coordinated automated system.

Education & Experience
Bachelor degree in Engineering, with a specialisation in any of the following fields:
Candidates should have experience working with automation systems used in industrial machinery, or automated equipment environments. Experience should include PLC based control systems, industrial automation programming, and familiarity with SCADA or machine monitoring systems. The role requires experience integrating sensors, actuators, and control hardware within automated machine systems, along with participation in machine commissioning, system testing, or operational deployment of industrial equipment. Familiarity with engineering design tools, control system configuration, and preparation of technical documentation is also desirable.
