Context Organs on Chip, or microphysiological systems (MPS), have the potential to increase the speed of discovery of new treatments and replace animal models. At Cherry Biotech we developed a new device, CubiX, that controls the physical parameters of the cellular environment. Mission In our R&D and Industrialization team, participate in the development of a new and innovative product. Your main tasks during the internship: ● Identify/discuss challenges, take part in brainstorming sessions, and propose potential solutions ● Develop prototypes, implement protocol tests and proofs of concept for new technological approaches to in vitro cell culture and monitoring ● Communicate results by reports and oral presentations ● Participate in other R&D, Industrialization and Production activities Main skills expected to be acquired at the end of the Cherry experience: ● Develop a good theoretical and practical knowledge about the launch of a new and innovative product ● Implement engineering methodologies, interpret results and identify causes ● Perform tests and proofs of concept ● Understand the start-up ecosystem ● Work as a team player in interdisciplinary fields What we’re looking for: ● Student enrolled in Mechatronics/Electronic/Robotic engineering ● Previous experience(s) in mechatronics highly appreciated but not mandatory ● Experience in CAD software and simulation mandatory ● Experience in sensors integration and optical systems desirable ● Fluent English speaker and good writing skills mandatory ● Rigorous, meticulous and well organized ● Perseverant and flexible Other info: ● Internship based in Montreuil ● Lunch-voucher of 8€ (60% paid by Cherry Biotech) ● 100% reimbursement of public transport pass How to apply and deadline: Fill this form: https://forms.gle/1u6d1a9nNh262xhA7
