- Perform trade studies to select the appropriate design solutions (select of materials, coatings, manufacturing technologies etc.) considering the requirements for launch and spaceflight.
- Perform FEM simulations to confirm readiness for vibration during rocket launch
- Close cooperation with the thermal control engineers, system engineers, electronics engineers and projects team.
- Preparation of technical documentation.
- Assessment of risks and reliability for mechanical solutions.
- Personal involvement in assembly and laboratory activities.
- Planning and execution of experiments.
What we expect:
- Education: At least a Master’s degree in mechanics, mechatronics, or a related field.
- Experience with 3D CAD design software (preferably Autodesk Inventor).
- Knowledge of FEM mechanical simulation and vibration load testing. Knowledge of thermal simulations will be an additional advantage.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
- Familiarity with Product Data Management (PDM) systems.
- Language skills: English (very good oral and written skills, ability to read and write technical documentation).
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of space industry design standards (e.g. ECSS) will be an advantage.
What we offer:
- Work with world-class companies and institutions at the cutting edge of the space industry for global market.
