Position Overview

We’re looking for a Mechanical Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer to support the prototype completion and transition into production of an automated food dispenser that is both transportable and refrigerated. You’ll work closely with the existing design team and take ownership of sub-systems to help expedite completion of the prototype and transition it into manufacturing. Willingness to take ownership and hands-on problem solving are important skills in this fast-paced environment.

What you’ll do:

• Take ownership of existing electro-mechanical subsystem and help drive the prototype to completion.
• Assist with cycle testing and performance evaluation of the completed sub-system.
• Update documentation based on as built and create required assembly instructions.
• Assist with setting up initial production build and ramp up to volume production.

What we’re looking for:

• ~5 years in a mechanical engineering or manufacturing engineering role.
• CAD skills in OnShape or similar parametric modeling software.
• Proven ability to solve complex technical problems and implement hardware solutions.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or similar technical field.
