POSITION SUMMARY

Remote - Intern role - for candidates based in India.

As a Marketing & Research Intern at Little Place Labs, you’ll help communicate our work across Earth Observation, Edge Computing, Defense, and Disaster Response. Your focus will be on creating thoughtful, well-researched content and improving how we present our technology to customers and partners. You’ll work closely with leadership, business development and engineering teams to translate technical concepts into clear, credible, and engaging material.

THE MARKETING & RESEARCH INTERN HAS 5 MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive content ideation and independently create high-quality posts
• Own the content calendar: planning, scheduling, and executing consistent multi-channel content
• Conduct targeted customer and market research to support content accuracy and positioning
• Measure social performance metrics and recommend improvements based on data
• Analyze customer segments and competitor activity to strengthen messaging and brand positioning

SOME 90-DAY DELIVERABLES

• Build and manage a monthly content calendar covering EO, Edge Computing, Defense, and Disaster Response
• Produce a regular stream of well-researched, high-quality posts for LinkedIn and other channels
• Set up a metrics dashboard (reach, engagement, conversion indicators) and provide actionable insights
• Conduct customer and competitor analyses to sharpen message clarity and relevance
• Improve content performance through experiment-driven iteration (formats, hooks, CTAs, etc.)

SUCCESS METRICS

• Clear improvement in the quality, clarity, and depth of social posts
• A functional, reliable content calendar
• Strong ownership: consistent output with minimal supervision
• Data-driven insights that improve engagement over time
• Research outputs used by business development and engineering team
• Well-organized documentation: research notes, content strategy, and performance summaries

EXPERIENCE

Must Have

• Final-year undergraduate student (ideally last semester) seeking a full-time internship
• Strong writing skills with the ability to simplify complex technical topics
• Experience creating content on social platforms (especially LinkedIn)
• Familiarity with basic analytics (social insights, dashboards, spreadsheets)
• Comfortable conducting independent research and synthesizing information
• Available full-time or at least 6 hours/day, with 3 hours overlap between 6 PM IST – 12 PM IST

Nice to Have

• Interest in space, Earth Observation, defense, or disaster management
• Experience with design tools (Canva, Figma, etc.)
• Prior marketing, content creation, or research experience
• Familiarity with productivity tools (Notion, Google Workspace, Sheets, etc.)
