Have a background in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, AI, Mechatronics, or a related field
Are excited about topics like humanoids, AI Safety, functional safety, human detection, or embedded systems
Know basics of (mobile) robotics systems like kinematics, navigation, localization, path planning, manipulation, 2D/3D perception
Bring theoretical and practical experience with robotics simulators (Isaac Sim, Omniverse, MuJoCo, Gazebo, etc.)

HERE'S WHERE YOU MAKE AN IMPACT
Support the development and validation of our Positron Safety AI System
Contribute to safety-critical algorithms such as Safe Human Detection and AI Behavioral Safety
Perform testing on modern robotics and safety systems
Analyze, implement, simulate, document, and optimize safety-relevant processes
Optional: Develop small tools (Python/C++/ROS) to support safety workflows
WHO YOU ARE
Studies in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, AI, Mechatronics, or a related field
Interest in Functional Safety, AI,, or Embedded Systems
Initial experience with Python or C/C++ is a plus
Analytical mindset and enthusiasm for working on real industrial challenges
You are required to complete a mandatory internship (Pflichtpraktikum) as part of your studies
