Role Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Manager – Laboratory for a full-time, on-site role in Chennai. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing laboratory operations, managing technical teams, ensuring quality compliance, and supervising molecular diagnostic workflows including NGS processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the molecular diagnostics laboratory

Experience Required

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in a molecular diagnostic laboratory
• Strong experience in handling infectious clinical samples
• Mandatory hands-on experience in Next Generation Sequencing (NGS)
• Prior leadership or team management experience preferred

Qualifications

• B.Tech / M.Tech – Biotechnology / Genetic Engineering
• B.Sc / M.Sc – Biotechnology / Genetic Engineering
• B.Sc / M.Sc – Molecular Biology
• Additional certifications in laboratory management or quality systems are an advantage

Skills Required

• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong documentation and reporting abilities
• Good presentation skills
• Proficiency in MS Office, email, and internet applications
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
