Job Summary JOB DESCRIPTION As a Solution Architect at Kinaxis, you will be a trusted advisor to our clients, responsible for leading the design and implementation of the Kinaxis RapidResponse platform tailored to specific customer needs. You will work closely with business leaders, technical teams, and product managers to define end-to-end supply chain solutions, ensuring that our software delivers optimal business value. The role combines strategic thought leadership, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills to create innovative, scalable solutions that meet clients' complex business requirements. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: * Solution Design: Lead the design and architecting of RapidResponse solutions, including determining best practices and tailoring configurations to meet the specific needs of clients in various industries (e.g., manufacturing, retail, high-tech, consumer goods). * Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients, understanding their supply chain challenges and goals, and translate these into detailed functional and technical solutions. * Pre-Sales Support: Work closely with the sales and pre-sales teams to demonstrate the value of Kinaxis solutions during the sales cycle, providing technical expertise, solution demos, and presentations. * Integration Strategy: Design and oversee the integration of RapidResponse with clients' existing enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, PLM), ensuring seamless data flow, system connectivity, and optimal performance. * Customization & Configuration: Provide input into configuring the solution and ensuring that customization is aligned with client requirements and best practices. * Technical Leadership: Offer technical guidance to both clients and internal teams, ensuring a robust, scalable solution architecture that can handle large datasets, high transaction volumes, and complex business processes. * Solution Validation: Ensure that the designed solutions meet business requirements through workshops, design reviews, and validation sessions with stakeholders. * Collaboration with Product Teams: Work with Kinaxis product management and engineering teams to communicate client needs, provide feedback, and ensure that the platform evolves to meet market demands. * Continuous Improvement: Advocate for continuous improvement by identifying and recommending enhancements or optimizations to existing solution architectures based on customer feedback and industry trends. * Mentoring & Knowledge Sharing: Provide mentorship to junior team members and share best practices to ensure consistent, high-quality solution delivery. Required Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. * 5+ years of experience in solution architecture, enterprise software design, or consulting, with a focus on supply chain management or enterprise applications (e.g., ERP, S&OP, Demand Planning, Inventory Management). * Expert knowledge of supply chain processes and best practices, including demand planning, inventory optimization, procurement, and order management. * Proven experience with the Kinaxis RapidResponse platform, or similar supply chain management tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle SCM), and related technologies. * Strong technical skills with cloud-based architectures, data integration, and APIs, with experience designing and deploying scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise solutions. * Experience with enterprise integration tools and technologies (e.g., ESB, middleware, REST APIs, web services, ETL). * Project management experience with a track record of leading successful solution implementations from design through to deployment. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with C-level executives, business stakeholders, and technical teams. * Ability to travel (if applicable) for client-facing engagements, solution workshops, and conferences. Qualifications Preferred Qualifications: * Advanced certifications in supply chain management or ERP systems (e.g., Kinaxis RapidResponse Certification, SAP SCM Certification, APICS CPIM). * Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). * Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in Agile project teams. * Knowledge of data analytics, machine learning, and AI-driven supply chain solutions. * Previous experience in pre-sales support or in a customer-facing role in consulting or professional services.
