Job Summary
The Manager, Corporate Accounting oversees the corporate accounting month-end close process. They are responsible for the monthly financial analysis and other financial reports, as well as the preparation of financial statements and other financial information used to prepare 10K/10Q disclosures. Additionally, they direct the daily work of the Corporate Accountants.

Assists with the preparation of annual budgets. (Essential)
Monitors month-end close progress to ensure deadlines are met. (Essential)
Develops, implements and maintains balance sheet reconciliation process. (Essential)
Identifies process improvements in the accounting process and plays a key role in current improvement initiatives. (Essential)
Coordinates team member selection and development and ensures team members comply with appropriate policies and procedures.
Reviews month-end journal entries and supporting documents to ensure accuracy.
Assists senior management with addressing issues and/or questions related to the monthly financial operating results and provides analysis of actual vs. budget variances.
Performs ad hoc analysis to support the monthly management reporting process; develops and enforces internal controls over financial reporting.
Interacts on a daily basis with team members throughout the company to discuss new transactions and resolve accounting issues as they arise.
Develops and maintains various accounting policies and procedures as necessary.
Builds and maintains relationships with key external parties including internal and external auditors.

Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, or related field (Required)
Master's Degree in Business, Accounting, or related field (Preferred)
6 years in accounting experience with financial statement responsibility (Required)
3 years in public accounting experience (Required)
2 years in supervisory experience (Required)
6 months in prior public accounting and/or experience at an international company with multiple entities (Preferred)
6 months in consolidation and foreign currency translation experience (Preferred)
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Knowledge of and proficiency in U.S. GAAP
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Advanced computer proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as the ability to use email and internet
Required Certifications/Licensures:(Certified Public Accountant (CPA))
