About the Candidate :
We are looking for a dynamic, motivated, self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment and will contribute to building a high performing BD organization. Prior track record of successful BD experience with B2B, Product Sales, Hospitality or AlcoBev Industry is preferred.
Role Expectations :
New Customer Acquisition :
(KRA : Growth in # of Clients)
- Develop & execute an effective sales and marketing outreach plan that optimizes sales efforts for faster lead conversions.
- Develop & execute an effective low cost, high impact distribution strategy. Identify multiple distribution channels & develop strategic growth partners in markets of choice.
- Proactively identify new customers, lead engaging Product Demos ( in-person or virtual ) & follow up to closure & onboarding. Be accountable for healthy conversion ratios.
- Own the proposal process: identify customer's needs, develop win themes, and produce complete proposals.
- Assess the competitive landscape, track key market trends and developments and work with the team to ensure kristalball is always one step ahead of the market.
Account Management :
(KRA : Client Retention & Satisfaction)
- Be accountable for successful kristalball deployment, training, onboarding and maintenance requirements.
- Provide excellent customer service including administrative support and smooth communications for existing customers. Ensure prompt resolution of any issues. Maintain proactive feedback loops.
- Track & communicate improvements in client metrics and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual insights for client consultations.
- Draw patterns from client usage/data to aid future product development and AI journey.
- Conduct UATs of the product before it goes to clients. Work with the technology team on QA & product enhancements.
- Drive usage of relevant product features for stakeholders within the client group.
- Implement internal productivity tools for the BD & Account Management teams.
Marketing & Communication:
(KRA : Customer acquisition or retention, Unique & Creative communication that builds greater relevance for kristalball within the hospitality and tech ecosystem)
- Develop creative, effective marketing collaterals & channels. These can be for client acquisitions, retention or awareness building programs for the ecosystem. These may include presentations, data analytics, videos, website & social media updates & other.
- Product Demo Material and Delivery, Product user manuals to be up to date, Come up with creative ways for enhancing customer onboarding & training that are scalable.
- Develop & execute on a calendar of opportunities for marketing activities that support lead generation.
- Create customer delight in interactions - verbal, written.
- Effectively plan, execute & communicate on sales & customer retention deliverables.
Research & Innovation :
(KRA : Innovative, Implementable Ideas on product or market success)
- Contribute to new innovation via. research & recommendations on trends impacting our customers across business & technology.
- Connect the dots between evolving customer needs & our product journey. Provide valuable input into product development.
- Be Innovative and contribute to a culture of Innovation at kristalball.
Skill & Behaviour Expectations :
Qualifications & Experience :
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Business, Commerce, Hotel Management or Engineering (with a passion or experience in sales or business development.)
- Prior experience of 8 to 12 years in startups, hospitality sales or SAAS/ Product B2B sales is an advantage.
- MultiLingual - Knowledge of local languages. eg. Kannada in Bangalore, Hindi & multiple languages is an advantage.
- Owning your own vehicle is an advantage.
- Prior team management experience.
- Proficient in MS office / Canva / Google docs. Etc.
