Summary
We are seeking a talented ML Researcher to join us at Cashmere, the growth intelligence platform for financial services. As part of our team, you'll play a vital part in designing, implementing and improving our proprietary models — providing our customers with best-in-class insights as they grow their book of business.
In this role, you'll collaborate with Cashmere’s data science team to solve challenging problems involving people and financial data — often with small, biased sample sizes or no ground truth. You’ll prototype and conduct R&D on various problems leveraging classical machine learning and modern LLM-based methods, developing a deep understanding of the wealth management domain along the way and iterating with customers to validate efficacy. As our business grows, your work will shape how customers experience and derive value from Cashmere’s data-as-a-service.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with data science team to design, develop, and maintain machine learning models.
- Tackle complex challenges in social graph estimation, predictive analytics, and similarity modeling.
- Improve predictive accuracy, insight effectiveness, and personalization based on customer feedback and results.
- Work with data and platform teams to integrate models into overall product experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Physics or related field.
- Proven track record in designing, building, and shipping impactful models.
- Deep understanding of modern AI methods and experience applying them.
- Demonstrates thoughtfulness in developing methods and understanding underlying data.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Compensation Range: $180K - $200K
