Job Description
We are seeking an organized, hands-on Operations & Technical Support Specialist to help manage equipment workflows, inventory, customer support, and basic quality checks. This role involves a mix of technical troubleshooting, logistics coordination, and communication with international suppliers.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working with physical products, diagnosing issues, supporting customers, and keeping operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Logistics
• Maintain and organize inventory.
• Support packing, shipping, and receiving processes.
• Ensure products are prepared accurately before they go out.
Technical Support
• Perform basic troubleshooting and testing on equipment.
• Identify issues, document findings, and assist in resolving them.
• Communicate technical problems and updates to our engineering teams
Quality & Testing
• Conduct simple functionality checks and sanity tests.
• Coordinate with a separate QA team when deeper review is needed.
• Confirm that equipment meets expected standards before delivery.
Customer Support
• Provide practical assistance when customers need help with equipment setup or issues.
• Test customer-reported problems and help guide solutions.
In-Person Workflow
• Support tasks involving video/data review, labeling, and basic operational inputs.
• Assist with hands-on preparation, assembly steps, or product handling as needed.
Cross-Functional Assistance
• Help ensure internal teams have accurate information about product status and issues.
• Contribute to documentation that supports projects, grants, or awards as needed.
Qualifications
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
