As a Legal Engineer at Newcode.ai, you’ll build the bridge to empower our partners and customers to fully leverage cutting-edge AI solutions that open new avenues and drives operational excellence in the legal sector. You’ll serve as a strategic partner, guiding customers from onboarding through adoption, expansion, and sustained value realization, while acting as an internal advocate for customer needs and AI-driven product development.

Core Responsibilities

1. Drive Legal Innovation
   • Collaborate with legal, product, and engineering teams to identify, scope, and implement AI-powered legal solutions with and for our partners and clients
   • Document solutions, create internal knowledge assets, and contribute to a bank of scalable legal engineering playbooks, helping supercharge our future growth.
2. Ownership of Customer Journey 
   • Lead onboarding and workshops for legal teams, supporting pilot projects and ensuring successful user adoption for new workflows and tools.
   • Own renewals and expansion discussions, proactively identifying opportunities for growth within existing accounts
3. Strategic Enablement & Adoption
   • Identify and implement use cases that align with customer goals 
   • Drive measurable adoption
4. Customer Impact  
   • Advocate for customer needs and follow through on feedback  
   • Identify and create market opportunities
5. Team Excellence 
   • Build the team and meaning of legal engineering and customers success  
   • Shape a culture of accountability and excellence

Requirements

Experience & Qualifications

• Legal expertise

• A legal degree

• Significant experience in a legal environment (law firm, in-house, or legal tech), and a genuine curiosity for technology’s role in enabling new frontiers for law.

• Project management

• Track record of implementation of tech in the legal sector, be that for yourself, your team, or your firm.

• Experience facilitating workshops, onboarding, project management, and strategic planning for stakeholders

• Tech fluency

• You have a passion and curiosity for tech, AI and automation, and you’re always eager to experiment and learn.

• Analytical mindset, with the ability to structure ambiguous problems, evaluate AI outputs,
  and spot areas for improvement in legal processes.

• Strong communication skills:

• You excel at translating between legal and technical perspectives and working with diverse teams.

• High EQ and comfortable navigating C-level conversations and working with stakeholders across teams

• Fluency in English and Swedish, other languages is a plus.
