Automation and Mechatronic Specialist – Advanced Mechatronics & Robotic Systems.

We are looking for one experienced (3+ years) Automation and Mechatronic Specialist to join our team in Tallinn and help us to build and develop our robotic manufacturing cells.

You will not be expected to master everything on day one.

What matters is strong hands-on capability, ownership, and the ability to grow into one or more focus areas over time.

🚀 About the Role

At 5.0 Robotics, the workshop is not a factory line.

It is where complex mechatronic systems are assembled, integrated, and prepared for global deployment.

You will work on:

Robotic arms and automation

Modular manufacturing cells and MiniFactory systems

CNC machines

Depending on your strengths, you will naturally take ownership of one main area, while supporting the rest of the workshop activities.

🔧 Core Responsibilities (expected from everyone)

Lean production experience and delivery focus

Mechanical and mechatronic assembly of robotic systems including CNC

Integration of mechanical, electrical, and automation components

Assembly and preparation of MiniFactory and modular production cells

Following safety procedures and maintaining a clean workshop

Working according to BOMs, assembly instructions, and delivery schedules

Supporting testing, commissioning, and final checks before delivery

🧠 Areas Where You May Specialize

Strong experience in most of these areaes are reccomended:

Workshop & Production Flow

Organizing daily workshop activities

Working with ERP-driven BOMs, routing, and time planning

Stock visibility and internal logistics

CNC & Automation

CNC mechanical assembly and alignment

Understanding of motion systems, spindles, drives, and tooling

Supporting automation and robotic arm integration

Assisting with calibration and functional testing

Mechatronic Systems Integration

System-level assembly and integration

Reading technical drawings and schematics

Supporting troubleshooting during commissioning

Ensuring build quality and consistency

Optional Technical Skills

Manual or CNC machining

Procurement or supplier coordination

CAD or CAM experience

ERP systems for production and stock management

Industrial safety procedures and documentation
