About the Company
Growexx is seeking a Lead – System Administrator to provide advanced technical assistance to our L2 support team and end users across Linux, Windows, and macOS environments. The ideal candidate will have strong Linux administration expertise, hands-on exposure to open-source tools such as Wazuh and Passbolt, and a solid understanding of both on‑premises Active Directory (AD) and cloud-based identity services such as Azure AD.
About the Role
Responsibilities
Advanced Technical Support
Provide Tier‑3 support for escalations from the L2 support team.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across Linux, Windows, and macOS platforms.
Conduct detailed root‑cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.
Assist end users with advanced-level technical issues.
Linux Systems Administration
Administer, configure, and troubleshoot Linux servers and workstations (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL, etc.).
Perform system security hardening, patch management, and performance optimization.
Utilize shell scripting (Bash/Python) for automation and process improvement.
Open-Source Tools & Applications
Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot open-source tools such as:
Active Directory & Cloud Identity Management
Manage and troubleshoot Active Directory environments, including Group Policies and user lifecycle management.
Support Azure AD / Cloud AD deployments and integrations (Jumpcloud, MS Intune, Scalefusion).
Work with hybrid identity technologies (Azure AD Connect, SSO, Conditional Access).
Infrastructure & Systems Operations
Perform changes following ITIL change management principles.
Assist with virtualization platforms such as EXsi.
Support network troubleshooting (DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewall basics).
Maintain and enhance documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles for L1/L2 teams.
Collaboration
Work closely with infrastructure, development, and cybersecurity teams.
Contribute to audit readiness, compliance processes, and security improvements.
Support Documentation/Policies-ISO 27001: Basic understanding.
