We are looking for a Network engineer to join our Network team . This is an amazing opportunity to work on Private cloud network environment. The team consists of 3 persons and is reporting to the network team manager. The team itself is part of a larger Network team in Clarivate. - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or related degree or relevant, equivalent work experience) - CCNA\CCNP/ CEH/ CISSP or other Network and security related certificates - Atleast 7 years of experience in production network environment with experience in Linux and windows operating system - Proven experience in implementing and managing Network and Security devices and protocols such as: Network Switches and routers (Cisco), Load Balancers (A10, F5), Firewall (including L7 DPI FW), Web Application firewall. - Experience with logical design models, network protocols and in conducting research in system solutions/products and performing proof of concept testing. - Experience with network cabling and physical layer / logical network infrastructure. - Proven deep understanding of TCP/IP, Subnetting, DNS, DHCP, NAT, L3 HA, Routing, etc. and related networking protocols and technologies (QoS, NTP, CDP, SNMP, SYSLOG etc.) and security-related protocols (SSH, HTTPS, AAA, IPSec, MACsec etc.). - Strong knowledge of Layer 2 network protocols (STP, VLANs, Ethernet, etc.) and Strong knowledge of Layer 3 IP routing (IP subnetting/addressing, BGP). - Host based AV and FW solutions. - Kubernetes environment network understanding - Some Experience with Python scripting and automations - Understand LAN/WAN and transport technologies. - Knowledge of how other IT systems (applications, SaaS products, end user devices, servers) interact with the network. - The Network engineer responsibility includes researching, implementing, and monitoring network and security devices and architectures for the Exlibris Private cloud. - You will need to utilize your deep knowledge of Network engineering to perform the implementation, operational support, maintenance, and optimization of the Network and Security infrastructure.
