We are looking for a Lead HVAC Energy Optimisation Engineer to take on a central technical and leadership role in our next phase of growth. This is a high-impact opportunity for someone who wants to stay close to the technical work while also leading people, shaping solutions, and helping bring new products and capabilities to market.

This role is ideal for someone who has already built strong expertise in HVAC, controls, and BMS, and is now looking for a more dynamic environment with greater ownership, broader influence, and a real path to leadership.

Your mission

As Lead HVAC Energy Optimisation Engineer at DABBEL, you will improve the energy performance of buildings and directly contribute to reducing their carbon footprint at scale.

You will combine deep technical expertise with practical execution, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration. You will lead by example as a hands-on expert, while also guiding a growing team and helping shape how operational HVAC knowledge is translated into scalable product and service solutions.

This role starts with immediate leadership responsibility. Initially, around 80% of your time will remain focused on hands-on engineering, HVAC optimisation, controls, and technical problem-solving, while around 20% will focus on leadership, coordination, mentoring, and team development. As the company grows, the strategic and leadership scope of the role is expected to expand further.

Compensation and incentives

This is a senior, high-impact role with compensation aligned to the level of ownership, leadership, and business impact expected.

In addition to base salary, this position participates in DABBEL’s team bonus model. We believe in shared success, shared responsibility, and strong alignment around outcomes. This role has meaningful participation in that bonus structure, reflecting its direct contribution to technical delivery, customer value, product development, and revenue influence.
