Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position for a Lead Data Scientist at our Chennai office. The Lead Data Scientist will lead the development and implementation of data-driven algorithms to support AI-powered predictive maintenance solutions. Responsibilities include conducting data analysis, building predictive models, optimizing algorithms, creating insightful visualizations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance decision-making processes. Additionally, the role involves mentoring junior team members and contributing to the strategic direction of the organization’s data science initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Data Science, Data Analysis, and Data Analytics
- Proficiency in advanced Statistics and Predictive Modeling techniques
- Experience in Data Visualization tools and methods to derive actionable insights
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to manage large-scale datasets
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Proven experience in leading data science projects and mentoring team members
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience in the automotive or transportation industry is a plus
