At Submer, we are redefining how data centers are built, integrated, and operated, with sustainability, efficiency, and innovation at the core. Our technology is designed to reduce environmental impact while improving performance and efficiency. We are a purpose-driven company with a passion for innovation and a growing global presence.
What Impact You Will Have
You will drive the design, development and integration of control systems that run our modular MEP platforms for data centers. This role is responsible for the full controls stack: architecture, PLC/SCADA programming, data integration, control logic, sequencing and system-level validation.
You’ll work closely with mechanical, electrical, and systems architects to define how each MEP module is monitored, automated and coordinated so the entire facility operates reliably and efficiently. You’ll also guide best practices, review vendor implementations and help shape the long-term controls roadmap. This role reports to the Director of Engineering
What You’ll Do
What You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree Controls Engineering, Computer Engineering or related discipline.
8+ years of experience in controls engineering, automation or industrial software development, ideally with mission-critical facilities or modular equipment.
Strong hands-on experience with PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens or equivalent) and HMI/SCADA platforms.
What We Offer
Attractive compensation package refleting your expertise and experience.
A great work environment characterised by friendliness, international diversity, flexibility, and a hybrid-friendly approach.
You´ll be part of a fast-growing scale-up with a mission to make a positive impact, offering an exciting career evolution.
Our Inclusive Responsibility
Submer is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, veteran status, or any other protected category under applicable law.
From concept to deployment, we create liquid-cooled datacenters that scale smarter, run cleaner and cost less.
