Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Cloud Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of scalable, modern cloud architectures. This role requires deep technical expertise, leadership abilities, and a proven track record of building and deploying cloud-based systems at scale. As a senior technical leader, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability of cloud platforms across AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Your Responsibilities

• Cloud Architecture & Infrastructure

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud architectures for modern applications.
  • Lead architectural decisions for multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
  • Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery across cloud systems.
  • Continuously optimize database systems (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) for performance and reliability.
  • Establish and enforce security best practices and governance policies.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure for performance and cost optimization.

• Software Development & Integration

  • Develop and optimize microservices using Python, Go, or JavaScript.
  • Oversee the development of front-end integrations with frameworks like React.
  • Implement message queues like RabbitMQ to ensure reliable service communication.
  • Drive automation across CI/CD pipelines to accelerate deployments.

• Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Mentor, guide, and lead a team of cloud developers and engineers.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and DevOps teams to align cloud strategies with business goals.
  • Lead technical discussions and effectively communicate architectural designs to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Education and Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and application development.
  • Experience designing systems with high security and compliance requirements.

• Skills

  • Proficiency in at least one major cloud platform: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Strong experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Solid understanding of databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
  • Experience with message brokers like RabbitMQ.
  • Advanced coding skills in Python, Go, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks like React.
  • Proven experience leading and mentoring teams of developers and engineers.
  • Ability to drive technical strategy while managing execution across teams.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to align cross-functional teams.
  • Deep knowledge of microservices architectures, distributed systems, and modern CI/CD workflows.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of cloud cost optimization strategies.
  • Certification in AWS, GCP, or Azure (preferred).
