Using naturally occurring cosmic rays (muons), our muonFLUX© system can see inside critical infrastructure such as bridges, tunnels, and buildings, detecting corrosion, voids, material loss, and other hidden defects with unprecedented clarity.
Unlike traditional NDT methods such as radar, ultrasound, muon tomography penetrates deep through concrete and steel, even at large thicknesses. Our technology is the only solution capable of capturing particles that pass through every material, producing highly accurate 3D models with up to 30x greater resolution than current market standards. - We have
completed the first validation with BAM
- Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing in Germany, a government organisation who validates new NDT technologies. The results exceeded all expectations and were published in
Bauingenieur
.

attached. We are also in discussions with Autobahn, Deutsche Bahn, and regions (Bavaria, Hessen, Nordrhein-Westfalen) to start deploying our technology to the first bridges in Germany.

As our key engineering partner in Germany, you’ll lead projects from the first meeting to the final scan. Your contribution will help civil and structural engineers understand our innovative technology and see how it brings real value to their bridge projects.”

: Be the public face to the market, educate and train our German civil engineering partners
- Co-lead the Product & Tech Development
together with
Rufus Foster
(bridge engineer and Technical Director in UK). Provide field feedback and technical insights to help refine and develop GScan’s technology.
How We’ll Work Together?
You’ll join us in a
remote-first setup
, working comfortably from your home office anywhere in Germany. For technology deployments at bridge sites, you will travel to customer locations, field deployments, or industry events within the DACH region, although the majority of collaboration is conducted online.

Interdisciplinary Exposure:
As you advance our technology, you will have the chance to collaborate with an interdisciplinary group of experts across the company, including civil engineers, particle physicists, electronics and hardware engineers, ML/AI specialists, and software developers.

✅ What are we looking for?
- Background as a Civil or Structural Engineer with a strong track record in infrastructure or bridge focused projects.
- 5-10 years in civil engineering or structural assessment roles.
- Strong understanding of non-destructive testing or monitoring methodologies and industry standards.
- Experience contributing to or managing complex, interdisciplinary projects.
- Confident in client-facing roles, technical sales, and stakeholder communication.
- Familiarity with CAD, 3D modelling, or structural analysis software.
- Willingness to travel within the DACH region and Europe for site visits, customer meetings, and events.
- Native level German and fluency in English are minimum requirements, having international experience is an advantage.

- Strong professional network within the German Civil Engineering community to accelerate our market entry and growth
- Broader exposure to buildings, geotechnical structures (e.g., tunnels, mining), or oil & gas infrastructure
- International experience. The role focuses on the DACH market, but in the future you will also have the opportunity to consult projects in countries such as the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Japan, and more.
