We are seeking a Lab Manager to oversee the collection of patient samples from our collaborating academic institutions and maintain our patient database. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate, track, and manage multiple batches of FFPE tumor samples (e.g. tissue slides, curls, blocks) from collaborating academic and clinical institutions
• Organize and document sample intake, processing status, storage, and shipment
• Perform careful and structured entry of clinical and sample-related metadata into internal databases, ensuring completeness, consistency, and traceability
• Maintain close communication with clinical partners regarding sample availability, missing information, and follow-ups
• Support histological workflows, including coordination of slide preparation and annotation of histological regions where required
• Ensure compliance with ethical, legal, and data-protection requirements when handling patient material and associated clinical data
• Collaborate closely with research, data science, and laboratory teams to support ongoing diagnostic and research projects
• Willingness to travel within Germany on a regular basis to coordinate sample logistics with partner sites

What You Bring

• Master’s degree (required) in molecular biology, biology, biomedical sciences, medical diagnostics, pathology, or a related field
• MD or PhD is optional
• Experience working with clinical samples , preferably FFPE tumor material
• Strong understanding of the importance of accurate clinical annotation and database management
