The Siemens Equipment Operation Engineer will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining SCADA and Simcenter systems. The role involves conducting durability, corrosion, and vibration tests on products or components to ensure their performance meets technical and safety standards.
Job Descriptions:
1. Equipment Operation and Testing:
- Operate Siemens SCADA and Simcenter systems as required for testing purposes or related system.
- Conduct durability, corrosion, and vibration tests according to technical procedures.
- Ensure that all equipment and testing processes comply with technical and safety standards.
2. Data Collection and Analysis:
- Monitor and record real-time data from equipment during testing.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed performance reports.
- Process and evaluate data from sensors, measurement, and monitoring systems.
3. Equipment Maintenance and Calibration:
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of Siemens testing equipment (SCADA, Simcenter).
- Calibrate sensors and measurement systems to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Conduct repairs or liaise with suppliers for support when necessary.
4. Coordination and Support:
- Collaborate with other departments (design, quality, production) to meet testing requirements.
- Assist in setting up appropriate test environments for different test cases.
- Provide training and support to team members in using the equipment.
Job Requirements:
1. Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Electronics, or related fields.
- At least 1 years of experience in operating testing equipment (preferably Siemens equipment/tool/system using: SCADAS, Simcenter,…).
- Experience in durability, corrosion, and vibration testing is an advantage.
2. Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SCADA and Simcenter systems, including setup, operation, and monitoring.
- Hands-on experience with sensors and measurement systems.
- Skilled in data analysis using technical software (e.g., MATLAB, LabVIEW, or similar).
3. Soft Skills:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork with related departments.
- Problem-solving mindset with quick and efficient solutions.
4. Other Requirements:
- Proficiency in English (technical document reading and basic communication).
- Willingness to work overtime or travel when required.
