About The Role This position is tasked with development of the City website and other related applications.Reporting to the Web Manager and working primarily with other members of the Web Team, the ideal candidate will be a developer with an entry or intermediate level of technical expertise in some or all aspects of website development and a willingness to learn and grow their skills.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities The specific duties of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Minimum Requirements
Education & Experience
Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience required
2+ years of experience in front-end website development
1+ years of experience developing websites utilizing Sitecore or another web-based content management system
Key Competencies
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Basic project management skills
Must be highly motivated, organized, and able to work effectively with minimal supervision
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer. Answer telephones and maintain multiple files. Must read and analyze large quantities of information. Must have sufficient mobility to get back and forth from office to offsite meetings.
