Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Full-Time Remote Accountant to manage our financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards and Saudi regulations. The ideal candidate should have solid accounting knowledge and a good understanding of the Saudi accounting system, including Zakat and VAT requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Ensure compliance with Saudi tax regulations, including Zakat and Value Added Tax (VAT)
• Prepare and submit VAT returns accurately and on time
• Coordinate with Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority (ZATCA) requirements when needed
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Assist in budgeting and financial planning processes
• Support external audits and provide required documentation
• Monitor expenses and ensure proper cost allocation

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Proven experience as an Accountant (minimum 2–3 years preferred)
• Good understanding of Saudi accounting regulations, including Zakat and VAT
• Familiarity with ZATCA compliance procedures
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho, Odoo, or similar systems)
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
