At Nanoprecise, we’re looking for a Junior AI Security & Governance Engineer (SecOps) who’s excited about AI security, cloud platforms, and modern compliance. This is a hands-on role where you’ll learn by doing, not by watching from the sidelines.
What You’ll Work On
- Helping secure AI & ML systems (threat modeling, access controls, governance)
- Supporting red team & blue team security activities
- Learning how to test and break apps (ethically) — including mobile apps
- Assisting with Microsoft 365 security & governance (Entra ID, Defender, Purview)
- Supporting compliance efforts for GDPR, SOC 2 Type II, and FedRAMP
- Working alongside senior engineers on real security incidents and audits
What We’re Looking For
- Early-career experience (0–3 years) in security, IT, cloud, or software engineering
- Strong curiosity about AI security and how modern attacks work
- Basic understanding of:
- Application & cloud security
- Identity and access management
- Red vs Blue teaming concepts
- Some scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, or Bash)
- Willingness to learn, ask questions, and document things properly (yes, that matters)
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Exposure to mobile app security (Android / iOS)
- Familiarity with Microsoft security tools
- Knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO, SOC 2)
- Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts
- Security certs or relevant coursework
