custom carrier boards, and high-reliability embedded platforms for aerospace, robotics, and
national security applications.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Jetson BSP Engineer responsible for end-to-end bring-up and
software enablement of NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano on custom carrier boards. The role involves
ownership of BSP customization, bootloader configuration, kernel integration, and
hardware–software bring-up from first boot to production readiness.
Key Responsibilities
• Board bring-up for custom Jetson Orin Nano carrier boards (first power-on to production)
• JetPack flashing, BSP customization, and L4T integration
• UEFI / CBoot configuration, MB1/MB2 tuning, and boot-chain debugging
• Linux device tree development for CSI cameras, IMU, barometer, SPI/I2C/UART/GPIO
• Camera bring-up including CSI lane mapping and sensor driver integration
• Kernel driver development and low-level peripheral debugging
• Power sequencing, reset-line validation, and coordination with hardware teams
• Debugging boot failures, kernel panics, and peripheral issues using UART and logs
• System performance, stability, and long-duration reliability optimization
Qualifications
• Hands-on experience with Jetson Orin Nano or Orin NX BSP bring-up
• Strong experience with Linux kernel customization and device trees
• Experience debugging custom embedded hardware (UART, boot logs, power rails)
• Familiarity with JetPack 5.x / 6.x, L4T, and NVIDIA flashing tools
• Experience with camera sensors and CSI pipelines is a strong plus
• Background in robotics, drones, autonomous systems, or defense applications preferred
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related field
