The Team

As a team, we are working to define and solve the hardest problems in AI including computer vision, speech, and natural language, geared towards real-time capabilities on small to medium-form factor devices. We originated out of multiple years of research, as such at our core we value learning, intellectual curiosity, and self-starters. Your Role and Responsibilities

Reporting to the VP Defense & Space Technology, this is a key position responsible for driving sales in the Japan region for Edgecortix’s transformative AI processing solutions. The Aerospace Sales and Business Development Lead will draw on firsthand knowledge of market-leading customers and ecosystems to propel pipeline development of use cases that support design wins and revenue growth. Position may include development and support of sensitive national security applications for Japan and aligned partner nations.

Responsibilities

Build a robust opportunity pipeline in the Japan region and establish long-term business relationships with partners and customers.

Required Skills And Experience

Bilingual business level Japanese and English skills.
Ability to demonstrate creativity and resourcefulness in closing deals.
7-10 years of business development and sales experience in technology.
Experience in semiconductor/microelectronics hardware and Edge/AI computing markets.
Technical foundation and business knowledge of the AI industry with skills to provide value-add in solving partner and customer challenges.
Familiarity with Aerospace and/or national security domains.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing and technical teams, to optimize lead generation and conversion processes.

Preferred Skills And Experience

10+ years of business development and sales experience in technology.
Strong experience and knowledge of use cases for Aerospace and Government sectors (including civil, commercial, and national security).
Hands-on experience selling AI Computing / Semiconductor products and solutions.
Deep experience and strong ecosystem network in Embedded and AI Computing markets.
Proven track record of successfully growing and exceeding revenue targets for innovative, new, and groundbreaking industry solutions.
Experience with leading alliances and driving complex deal negotiations.
Experience in identifying and qualifying prospects for product alignment to enable efficient paths to revenue opportunities.
