In this role, you will be at the forefront of implementing and maintaining cutting-edge smart manufacturing technologies, driving our digital transformation initiatives. Ensure operations for all Smartfactory solutions such as the Manufacturing Execution Systems (SAP DM), Manufacturing Service Bus (MSB), IoT Edge Technology, Maschine Data Acquisition and Recipe Management System Offer 2nd level support of business solutions in the area of Manufacturing IT Applications Support/consult the central key user and the local key users in the plants for all Smartfactory solutions Drive active system monitoring Coordinate system upgrades and patches Support the digital transformation of the business with digitalization solutions Support the regional rollout of the Smartfactory solutions Overtake the responsibility to coordinate all infrastructure and other issue related activities Implement and refine IT best practices in the relevant areas: project management, portfolio management, service management Foster collaboration and cooperation with other teams and competence centers Support to steer and control external providers to ensure optimal world-wide service provisioning
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field 3+ years of experience in IT engineering or a related field, preferably in a manufacturing environment Familiarity with manufacturing processes and Industry 4.0 concepts Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
Knowledge in ITSM such as incident, change and problem management - ITIL certificate desirable Business-fluent English language skills written and spoken Excellent communication skills and structured work style Embracing teamwork by supporting each other Openness to international business trips (10-20%)
