Your Mission

We are seeking an IT Services Manager to join our friendly, relaxed, and inclusive team. You will:

• Provide high-quality central services to the Improbable group and our network of venture businesses.
• Lead and manage the IT Support, Tech Ops, and Technical Security functions.
• Ensure all company services are deployed, managed, and supported at the highest levels of compliance and service.

Your Opportunity

• Lead the internal IT support team in day-to-day IT operations.
• Manage the planning, implementation, development, monitoring, maintenance, upgrading, and support of organizational IT infrastructure, networks, systems, and applications.
• Lead Technical Security operations and oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of security infrastructure, systems, and applications.
• Maintain security controls aligned with recognized international standards and conduct internal and external audits.
• Own our service catalogue, internal processes, incident management, and security controls.
• Manage IT budgets and ensure cost-effective allocation of technology resources and oversee procurement.
• Ensure suppliers and vendors are appropriately assessed against our security controls frameworks and comply with our security standards and any certification claims.

Qualifications

• Work well with leadership stakeholders across business boundaries.
• Have a proven ability to leverage tools to accurately map out work for teams.
• Understand the fundamentals of ITSM, Service Design, Deployment, and Support.
• Have experience implementing international security standards (such as ISO 27001:22 (preferred), NIST CSF, or SOC2), including internal and external auditing.
• Have a track record of motivating and organizing technical teams.
• Understand Networks, Security, Firewall, Vulnerability Management, SIEM, and EDR technologies.
