About the Role

As IT Operations & Cyber Lead , you will manage Humanoid’s corporate IT environment, ensuring it is secure, reliable, and scalable as the company grows.This is a hands-on leadership role , combining responsibility for end-user computing, identity and access management, corporate networking, and cyber security operations .

What You’ll Do

• Manage Humanoid’s corporate IT infrastructure, endpoints, office networks, connectivity, and productivity platforms (Google Workspace, Slack, Miro etc.).
• Oversee endpoint lifecycle management, across sourcing, procurement, deployment, patching, and recovery.
• Maintain monitoring, alerting, and performance reporting for corporate systems.
• Lead vendor management for hardware, software, and managed services.
• Ensure operational standards for backup, configuration, and change management.
• Engineering team , who manage product infrastructure (AWS, CI/CD, robotics environments);
• ITSM Lead , who manages service process, management and support
• The IT Director , to align on overall strategy, operational reliability, governance, and security maturity with business growth.

We’re Looking For

• Manage Humanoid’s corporate IT infrastructure, endpoints, office networks, connectivity, and productivity platforms (Google Workspace, Slack, Miro etc.)
• Oversee endpoint lifecycle management, across sourcing, procurement, deployment, patching, and recovery.
• Maintain monitoring, alerting, and performance reporting for corporate systems.
• Lead vendor management for hardware, software, and managed services.
• Ensure operational standards for backup, configuration, and change management.
• Identity & Access Management
• Design and operate IAM frameworks covering SSO, MFA, and RBAC across all relevant corporate systems.
• Manage user provisioning and de-provisioning in partnership with ITSM.
• Conduct regular access reviews and maintain least-privilege and zero-trust principles.
• Integrate IAM controls into SaaS and endpoint environments.
• Cyber Security Operations
• Implement and manage endpoint protection, vulnerability management, and SIEM/logging tools.
• Lead incident detection and response, including root-cause analysis and remediation tracking.
• Maintain Humanoid’s information security risk register and control library.
• Drive readiness for ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR compliance.
• Deliver staff security-awareness and phishing-simulation programmes.
• Partner with Engineering to align product and corporate security practices.
• Networking & Connectivity
• Manage office and lab network infrastructure (LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and firewalls).
• Ensure secure, high-performance connectivity for hybrid working and site-to-site links.
• Collaborate with Engineering on separation and safe interconnect between corporate and robotics networks.
• Governance, Standards & Resilience
• Define and maintain IT and security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Oversee corporate backup, recovery, and business-continuity processes.
• Produce operational and security metrics and report risks and incidents to the IT Director.
• Contribute to Humanoid’s IT roadmap, balancing speed, cost, effectiveness and security

Nice to Have:

• Experience supporting product development environments (robotics, IoT, AI, or other R&D-heavy contexts).
• Hands-on experience effecting tangible/measurable operational efficiencies through the deployment of AI solutions
• Knowledge of ITIL or other IT service management frameworks, particularly incident/change management.
• Exposure to compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC2, or NIST.
• Prior experience scaling IT teams from small core functions into mature multi-discipline organisations.
