We are seeking for our client, a respected IT & Consulting Company focused on IT Quality Assurance, a Senior IT Implementation Support Specialist for M365 to join their Project Implementation Support Team for a major Microsoft 365 (M365) rollout initiative across various locations.

This role involves providing offsite support combined with travel as needed, delivering IT administration, user training, first-line technical support, troubleshooting, and more for a critical Public Cloud environment. Candidates must possess strong technical skills, flexibility for travel, and a commitment to user support and implementation excellence.

The role involves supporting the implementation and maintenance of Microsoft 365 services for critical operations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Microsoft 365, IT support, and networking, coupled with excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

What you would do & responsibilities

Offsite & On-Site User Support & Troubleshooting:

• Guide users through the transition to the Critical Public Cloud environment, including setting up and enrolling end-user devices such as desktops, laptops, tablets, and smartphones.
• Provide hands-on support for M365-related functionalities, assist with enrolment processes, and offer walk-in technical assistance when on-site.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues using known solutions and JIRA ticketing.

Training and Continuous Learning:

• Attend familiarization training for the NPCL solution, including online modules and in-person sessions as required at key project locations.
• Maintain up-to-date expertise through continuous learning and collaboration as the solution evolves.

Administrative & Logistical Support:

• Perform IT administrative tasks, including user account resets, issue log updates, and maintaining documentation.
• Support logistics for device distribution, transport, and disposal as required during the rollout process.

System Administration & Maintenance:

• Configure and manage M365 accounts, permissions, and security groups in compliance with company policies.
• Monitor M365 system health, connectivity, and performance metrics, identifying and addressing potential issues proactively.
• Work with IT and security teams to ensure M365 configurations meet cybersecurity and compliance standards.

Process Improvement & Knowledge Sharing:

• Identify and propose improvements in enrolment and user support processes.
• Contribute to team knowledge bases, assist in refining user support protocols, and document best practices.

Coordination & Travel Logistics:

• Act as a liaison for travel arrangements, ensuring compliance with project directives and travel-related administration.
• Coordinate travel logistics, including security clearance processes, visas, and communication with project managers.

Sprint-Based Deliverables:

• Work will be structured into weekly sprints, with clear deliverables and milestones documented through Delivery Acceptance Sheets (DAS) to be signed by both the contractor and the Agency.

Languages requirement:

• Fluent in English (minimum B2 level) and intermediate in French (minimum A1 level)

Qualification/Certification requirements

• Work permit: Must have a valid Romanian work permit.

• Technical Skills:

○ Proficiency with Windows desktops/laptops and Apple devices managed through Intune.

○ Experience with Microsoft 365 services (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive).

○ Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and Power Automate (preferred).

• Problem-Solving & Communication Skills:

○ Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues.

○ Full proficiency in English; proficiency in French is advantageous for specific project locations.

○ Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical users.

• Customer Orientation & Team Collaboration:

○ Commitment to user satisfaction and empathetic support interactions.

○ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

○ Willingness to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Preferred Certifications (Not Mandatory):

○ Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate

○ Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (SC-900)

○ CompTIA Security+

Additional Requirements:

• Travel: Willingness and ability to travel extensively within eligible countries, particularly to project sites as required by the implementation schedule. Travel costs are reimbursed separately.
• Security Clearance: Candidates must be engaged as a Company / Authorized Freelancer to initiate the SECRET security clearance process required for this project. Passport and citizenship details will be required for this process under a GDPR-compliant data protection agreement.
• Work Arrangement: Primary work will be offsite, with travel to various project locations as needed. On-site engagements may be required, and telework during these phases is not allowed unless explicitly agreed with project managers.

Hiring Process:

2. Engagement & Clearance Initiation:

• Candidates must provide their Company details to initiate the security clearance process.
• Passport and citizenship details will be required for this process under a GDPR-compliant data protection agreement.

3. Security Clearance Processing:

• The clearance process may take several months to complete. Successful clearance is required for final engagement on the project.
• Upon successful clearance and contract award, candidates will transition to invoicing based on the agreed hourly rate.
