Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to support deal evaluation on a project-based basis. Our firm targets essential businesses within America’s industrial and regulated sectors, often in growth equity or late-stage buyout scenarios (including LBOs). As deal volume increases, we are looking to outsource portions of financial analysis to someone who can operate with minimal oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Review financial statements and supporting materials provided via data rooms.
• Build financial models using internal templates, with the ability to scale to more detailed models as deals progress.
• Produce valuation ranges to support bid and investment decisions.
• Prepare presentation materials and slide decks if a deal advances beyond the Investment.

Committee stage

• Apply investment judgment to growth equity and LBO-style opportunities.
• Turn around analyses efficiently with limited handholding.
• Collaborate asynchronously with the internal deal team as projects arise.

Required Qualifications

• Current or recent MBA student, or a Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• Investment banking, M&A, or private equity experience required.
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills.
• Experience working directly from financial statements without extensive guidance.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced deal environment
