Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis of potential investments, including discounted cash flow (DCF), internal rate of return (IRR), and sensitivity analyses specific to PropTech assets and ventures.
• Research and monitor market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes within the real estate and PropTech sectors, providing actionable insights to inform investment strategies.
• Prepare detailed investment memoranda, pitch decks, and due diligence reports for presentation to senior management and investment committees.
• Evaluate and model the financial performance of existing portfolio companies, identifying opportunities for value creation and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, technology, and operations, to assess the strategic fit and scalability of potential investments.
• Support the end-to-end investment process, including deal sourcing, screening, due diligence, transaction execution, and post-investment monitoring.
• Utilize advanced data analytics tools and real estate market databases to extract, analyze, and visualize key investment metrics.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory developments, compliance requirements, and macroeconomic factors affecting the PropTech and real estate investment landscape in the UAE and globally.
• Participate in regular portfolio reviews, performance tracking, and reporting to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and investor expectations.

Required Experience & Skills

• Demonstrated experience (2-4 years) in investment analysis, financial modeling, or related roles within real estate, PropTech, private equity, venture capital, or investment banking.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling using Microsoft Excel, including scenario analysis, forecasting, and valuation techniques.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial statements and market data.
• Familiarity with PropTech trends, digital real estate platforms, and technology-driven business models in the property sector.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and real estate analytics platforms (e.g., CoStar, REIS, Propstack) is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative mindset with experience working in cross-functional and multicultural teams.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion when handling confidential information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field is required.
• Progress toward or completion of relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CAIA, RICS) is considered an asset.
• Advanced coursework or training in real estate finance, investment analysis, or technology innovation is advantageous.
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development in finance, real estate, or technology sectors.
