Your Role
As a Mandatory Intern (Pflichtpraktikum) in Software Development
, you will support the development of modern AI-driven software tools for simulation engineers. Your work will focus on building scalable backend services, AI agent workflows, and integration layers that connect large language models with engineering simulation environments.

for high-performance backend services.
Contribute to SaaS platform development
for engineering simulation tools.
Build AI agents for simulation engineers
to automate workflows and analysis tasks.
Integrate and deploy LLM-based systems
into engineering software pipelines.
Work with containerized applications and service communication
(e.g., APIs, microservices).
Support development of frontend interfaces
for AI-powered engineering tools .
Mandatory internship
as part of a Bachelor’s or Master’s program
in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar.
Interest in AI systems, software architecture, and engineering applications.
Programming experience (preferably Rust, Python,
or similar languages).
Basic understanding of LLMs, APIs and container technologies.
Structured and independent working style.
Fluent in English
