Internship Description:

We are currently seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic interns for the  Spring 2026 semester to contribute to the R&D program at Vivtex. This is a fantastic opportunity for local students interested in gaining valuable hands-on experience in a collaborative research and development setting.

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute molecular dynamics simulations using industry standard software (i.e. GROMACS).
• Implement machine learning workflows to derive meaningful information from large datasets.
• Collaborate with chemists and biologists to guide experimental efforts.
• Troubleshoot technical issues in simulations, software, and computational environments.
• Interface with cloud GPU resources (i.e. AWS) for computationally intensive workloads.
• Communicate results to diverse scientific team.

Ideal Candidates:

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, Computer Science, or related fields at a university local to Boston, MA.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with Python and/or C-based programming.
• Excellent documentation skills.
• Must have good interpersonal skills and ability to perform as a team member.
• Preference to candidates that can be  on-site  for this part-time position.
• 3-month minimum commitment  is required.

The internship is based in Boston, MA. Successful candidates will receive a competitive wage.
