Role Description
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a distributed team of IT specialists, fostering a highly collaborative and customer-focused culture.
Infrastructure & Strategy: Design, own, and execute the roadmap for Cogniify’s internal IT infrastructure, including SaaS (Okta, G-Workspace), endpoint management (JAMF), and network services.
Project & Migration Management: Plan and lead complex IT projects, such as new software implementations, cloud service migrations, and infrastructure upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption.
Asset Management: Oversee the complete lifecycle of all IT assets (hardware and software), including procurement, provisioning, maintenance, and decommissioning.
Helpdesk & Support Oversight: Manage the IT helpdesk function, setting SLAs, tracking metrics, and acting as the final escalation point for the most complex technical issues.
Process Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for automation, cost savings, and process improvements across the IT function.
Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for IT processes, system configurations, and user-facing support guides.
What We’re Looking For
8-10 years of experience in IT operations, systems administration, or infrastructure management.
Proven leadership experience, with at least 2-3 years of managing or mentoring an IT team.
Expert-level knowledge of modern, cloud-first IT stacks: Okta, Google Workspace, JAMF, Jira, Confluence, Slack, and Zoom.
Strong project management skills with demonstrable experience leading IT migrations (e.g., platform-to-platform, data center, identity provider).
A "self-starter" mentality: You are proactive, take ownership, and can drive projects from conception to completion with minimal supervision.
Exceptional customer-centric attitude: A strong desire to help people, with patience and empathy for non-technical users.
Strategic thinker with advanced troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
