Position: IT Helpdesk Executive
Company: VinDynamics
Division - Department: Back Office Division
Report to: Director of Back Office
Location: Reno, Nevada, USA
Role Overview:
The IT Helpdesk Executive – VinDynamics USA is responsible for ensuring stable, secure, and efficient IT operations for the U.S. office during its setup and growth phase. This role will provide end-user IT support, system administration, and infrastructure maintenance, ensuring compliance with U.S. IT standards while adhering to Vingroup’s internal policies on IT governance and security. The position plays a critical role in enabling daily operations for a growing team of engineers and professionals.
III. REQUIREMENTS
Relevant education and experience
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or system administration roles.
Experience supporting organizations with 50–100 employees or similar scale.
Hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, network systems, and end-user support.
Personality/ Attitude
High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Proactive, hands-on, and able to work independently.
Good communication skills and ability to coordinate across global teams.
IV. JOB DESCRIPTION
Provide first-line IT support for employees, including hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
Familiarity with Windows/Mac environments, Microsoft 365/Google Workspace, and common enterprise tools.
Preferred Qualifications
Service-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
Proactive, responsive, and able to handle multiple requests efficiently.
High sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and support cross-functional teams.
Experience working with global IT teams or multinational organizations.
Set up and maintain IT infrastructure for the office, including laptops, workstations, printers, network devices, and meeting room systems.
Manage user accounts, access control, and IT asset inventory in compliance with company policies.
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and collaboration tools.
Monitor and maintain network performance, internet connectivity, and system security.
Implement and enforce IT policies, cybersecurity standards, and data protection practices aligned with Vingroup regulations.
Support onboarding/offboarding processes, including IT equipment provisioning and access setup.
Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for IT services, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Ensure proper backup, recovery, and data protection mechanisms are in place.
Document IT processes, guidelines, and troubleshooting procedures.
Collaborate with global IT teams (Vietnam and other regions) to ensure alignment in systems and standards.
