We are looking for an experienced Industrial Designer with a strong background in drone or aerospace product design.
This role will focus on designing form, structure, and user-centric aspects of UAV systems while ensuring alignment with engineering, aerodynamics, and manufacturability constraints.
Key Responsibilities
- Design the overall form factor, aesthetics, and product experience of drone systems.
- Work on concept design, ideation, and product visualization for UAV platforms.
- Collaborate closely with mechanical, embedded, and product teams to ensure design feasibility.
- Create 3D models, renders, and design prototypes for drone structures and components.
- Ensure designs balance aesthetics, aerodynamics, ergonomics, and functionality.
- Develop design guidelines and product identity for VECROS drones.
- Support prototype development and iterative design improvements.
- Work on user-centric design for payload integration, handling, and usability.
- Stay updated with trends in drone, automotive, and industrial design.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Design / Product Design
- 2–5 years of experience in industrial design, preferably in drones, aerospace, robotics, or automotive products.
- Proven experience in designing drones or similar hardware products (portfolio is mandatory).
- Strong skills in 3D design and visualization tools (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Rhino, Blender, KeyShot, etc.).
- Understanding of aerodynamics, materials, and manufacturing constraints.
- Experience in prototyping and working with engineering teams.
- Strong visual design sense and attention to detail.
- Ability to balance creativity with engineering practicality.
