Job Description
The Implementation & Radiologist Workflow Specialist supports the successful delivery of Radin’s RIS/PACS and AI solutions through structured implementation processes, workflow optimization, and radiologist-focused onboarding.
You will work across operations, engineering, product, and client leadership to coordinate deployments and ensure that radiologists, technologists, and administrators fully realize the value of Radin’s platform.
This is a
client-facing role
requiring strong communication, workflow insight, and technical implementation skills.
Key Responsibilities
Implementation & Project Coordination
- Assist in developing project plans for new client implementations.
- Coordinate tasks, timelines, and deliverables across internal teams.
- Support radiologist workflow assessments and configuration decisions.
- Track issues, risks, and milestones throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Prepare and distribute project documentation, meeting minutes, and status reports.
Radiologist Workflow Optimization
- Assist radiologists with workflow setup, worklists, hanging protocols, AI-enhanced reporting, and viewer configurations.
- Help configure reporting templates, macros, and structured workflows.
- Ensure radiologists receive a clean, efficient user experience during onboarding.
PACS & Technical Setup
- Support PACS configuration: viewer settings, routing rules, prefetching, workstation optimization.
- Assist with DICOM, HL7, and modality interface validation.
- Participate in testing, readiness checks, and technical troubleshooting.
Training & Client Engagement
- Deliver remote or onsite training for radiologists, technologists, and clinical staff.
- Provide clear communication during go-live and early-adoption phases.
- Build trust with client operational teams through professionalism and reliability.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with engineering, QA, and product teams to resolve implementation barriers.
- Share client insights and workflow challenges to support continuous product improvement.
- Coordinate with support teams to ensure smooth transition post-go-live.
Required
Qualifications & Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in radiology IT, PACS, RIS, or healthcare software implementation.
- Strong understanding of:
- Radiologist interpretation workflows
- PACS viewer configuration
- DICOM standards and routing
- Worklist management
- Reporting and structured templates
- Clear and effective communication skills.
- Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in client-facing roles with high accountability.
Preferred
- Experience with AI-driven reporting/dictation tools or advanced radiology analytics.
- Experience with enterprise imaging platforms or similar medical software.
- Project management exposure (scheduling, documentation, stakeholder communication).
- CAPM or PMP a plus (not required).
- Experience supporting clinical users during go-live.
Travel Requirements
- Up to 10–15% travel, primarily within the East Coast and Midwest for client go-lives and training.
Compensation
Base salary range:
$95,000 – $115,000 USD
